nightcraw1er.488: If you have a “play” button, then you are still running it through galaxy. Exit and close galaxy, and run the game exe (you might need to change the run parameters if it’s loading galaxy).

Hal-Wyatt: Sorry I should have been more precise. I closed Galaxy and then tried to run the game through the installation folder. When doing this it gives me the splash screen, but when hitting play it gives me the error message

C:\Windows\system32\d3dx11_43.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media of contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
Am afraid your going to have to go through support. You will need to tell them details about your system, and run a dxdiag. The error is telling you that directx is either not installed, or the install is corrupt.

When die hard PC gamers ask why people play games on consoles this is why. You put the disc in or select the play button and the shit just works without having to be a f-ing rocket scientist.

Hal-Wyatt: I recently purchased Deus Ex Mankind Divided, however when I hit play the icon goes grey for a second and then goes back to purple with no error message.

I have tried verify the game files and it seems to download everything it needs.

When trying to run the game from the EXE. in the games directory I'm getting an error that reads:

C:\Windows\system32\d3dx11_43.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media of contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

I was having the same issue with games on Steam, when hitting play it would start to launch then nothing would happen and wouldn't show an error message.

Does anyone have any recommendations / solutions?
