my question, since I haven't tried it out for myself, is if the Offline Installers downloaded with the Gog Galaxy launcher are truly oflfine just like the ones you can download on your account page with an browser.

I also want to know if you can resume the download with Galaxy the next day where you left off.

Ok. Thanks for the quick answer and sorry if my question was unnecessary, I was unsure because I have probably read some misleading information.

same files

Versioning can be different, sometimes, as updates are uploaded to Galaxy first, then eventually (though not always) the off-line installers are then created using those files...

The OP was asking about the offline installers - downloadable via Galaxy (under Extras), not about "Galaxy game installation". ;-)

Ah!, yes, you are correct. My mistake, I think it maybe due to the current heatwave we are having. Well!, sound's like a good enough excuse to me... ;)
