When it comes to downloading, I just don't see the point in "Galaxy" nor in "GoG Downloader". Why install a program specifically to download files from a single web site? I think it's more practical to have a generic download manager which can be used on the whole internet.

Can't say I have this problem. Are you running it on some primitive XP machine?
