This has kept on topic so far! Also why is everyone so defensive? I didn't do anything. I didn't even expect anyone to see the post, and I wasn't even trolling nor bating. I was trying to get some people on my friends list... IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK!?
Also, how do I direct messages towards multiple people?

Like I said I'm willing to give you another chance, but do you honestly think coming in slamming the site and repeatedly using a derogatory term doesn't constitute trolling? If it doesn't then I'm afraid my concept of the word is terribly off.

I was not saying it in an derogatory manner and clarified, if anyone was reading without context, it was a joke. Also, I didn't know anyone but see it but the people who got linked! I didn't know >.< sorry!

Private messages? I think you'll have to do them one at a time; AFAIK GOG doesn't yet support the idea of social groups. (Unless you count the game specific threads and language parent topics, or the user-created GOGmixes, or probably other things I don't know about because all I was paying attention to was making fun of TinyE since I was told there would be a test)

Advice? Just let it go. Call it a screw-up on one post and roll on. If you want to get some friends for Galaxy, start a new thread and just ask. It may not be Hollywood but you can swing a reboot.

Same thing friends are for with any other client really, mainly MP when you want to start a game online with someone or to ask someone to play with, and to know what your friends are playing. Stuff yet to be added but will be soon. Then this friends thing will make a lot more sense to people. xD

That's the problem, there is no non derogatory way to use that term when addressing someone, no matter what the context is. Pretty much the only legitimate use is if you are British and referring to a cigarette. All other uses are ignorant bigotry. I understand you didn't think it would be public, but that still doesn't make it right.

If you aren't insulting someone it isn't derogatory. People are getting was to sensitive about this trying to be so politicly correct. It doesn't really matter unless you are insulting someone, and even if you were, that is the lamest insult ever. It isn't something negative to say, it is just saying something and implying that you mean it as an insult. Saying, "fag" doesn't offend anybody. Gay people don't care because they are gay, and don't see anything wrong with being gay. You can call someone a napkin and if you say it in a certain tone it will be an insult. Every word could be an insult, it just depends on how you use it. In this case I was not using it as an insult just as a word while I was joking around. Even the people who I intended to see the post wouldn't get offended about it. I don't know why it matters, and why the hell are we still talking about this anyways?! The post got deleted. There is nothing more to say. Now can people stick to the topic of spiderman memes and making friends or gtfo

That's not how words that are a symbol of bigotry work. By using that word, no matter what context you are using it in, you are not only perpetuating the bigotry it comes from, you are diminishing the meaning of the history of suffering it represents. If you want to call that "politically correct" so be it, I prefer to call that being a respectful and civil human being.
