I just launched GOG galaxy and it gets to about 60MB of the update download and it says "there was a problem with updating the application", go to www.gog.com/galaxy to download the latest version. so I went to the website and downloaded the latest version and it says the version installed is the same or later than the downloaded one. Any Ideas??

More Info: Running windows 10 home 64 bit
AMD A8 6410 APU with AMD R5 Graphics

AMD R5 230M 2GB

I fixed the problem by uninstalling Galaxy, then deleting the leftover GOG Galaxy folder from the Program Files(x86) folder. Then I reinstalled Galaxy. I had to do all of this twice before it worked, or at least seems to.
I have the same issue:
GOG Galaxy is up to date (1.2.29) for me, but at each start i get the update problem... Saying i should d/l GOG Galaxy on the website... but its the same version ?!?!!?

I have the same problem. It always tries to update, but if it's already up to date it says it can't update. it's just a little bug I think.
uninstall galaxy>turn firewall/antivirusoff> install galaxy again>
