It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I'm working on an ad-skip button clicker, though it mostly works on the white-screen ads that i've seen. If someone else wants it, i'll supply it.

rtcvb32: Well HTML5 is SUPPOSE to easily allow media. Otherwise you'd incorporate a Javascript portion which pulls the player (swf player?) not sure. Though even if you just pointed to the file directly i've seen even a browser that can't support it, load up the media player and let you see the video.

So i don't know. It wouldn't be hard.
That's good to hear....it means it might be more feasible for GOG to do such, and more likely(even if it's still not very likely overall) they'd do such for us.

Also thanks for the info.

If it works out, you could post a link to it here or somewhere else for those who might want to try it out.

Is that for chrome and offshoots of chrome as well?

No clue.

The script looks for 'skip ad' and clicks it if it detects it in the lower 1/4th of the screen, so depends on how much the sensitivity needs to be. I just know when i get 'ads' they are a bright white almost, like some part of the ad script wasn't fading in or out right.

Well it's good to have for those that need it, at any rate.
(I don't get those issues thankfully, so don't need it atm...have saved the file if I do need it later, though)

Dogmaus: Steam has its own videos that won't send you on youtube.
you can also download them by right clicking - which is handy if on mobile or a limited data setup.

I didn't know! I saved one and it played perfectly on my media player of choice. Thanks, good to know.
noscript is pretty neat too for add and all kinds of weird situations you'd like to avoid
