Many people are unhappy about the way Steam is going, i feel mixed myself about the direction it is going. Being able to transfer games is convenient and i believe that on a middle to long term view it will bring customers here.

Among things i don't like is the way they restict things like gifting, the lacking support, the trash can of games greenlight brought... Sure Steam is still great and has advantages, one of them being that humble bundle games are steam games most of times. But if things get worse or customer unfriendly, it is good to have a ship to jump to.
