Like a Muppet I didn't fully read the GOG connect instructions, cause who needs instructions...well apparently I do. So when I connected my Steam account to GOG Connect my privacy settings were set to private in Steam, whoops. Anyway I've changed the settings on my Steam account to public and have tried the refresh button on GOG Con but nothing is happening, no games to add in GOG Con.

Just to check but does this mean all my old games on Steam which I have quite a lot of will not be available on GOG Connect? Does GOG Con only work from a point in time on importing your Steam account or does it recheck your full steam games library in the future when more games are added to GOG Connect?

I just wanted to know so I can move on and give myself a forehead slap if I can't now add my games from Steam.

There was a time window given for connecting and redeeming your games from Steam:

UPDATE: Last chance to grab your games from the original list! Make sure to get them until June 8, 12:59 PM UTC.
For me it didn't work instantly after changing the Steam account privacy settings, I think it took some hours before GOG Connect recognized the few eligible Steam games I had.

And yes I think you need to click that Refresh once in a while, ie. if it says no eligible games found, it will not check them automatically. It only checks again when you click on refresh. At least that's how it seemed to me.
