It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Basically what it says on the tin, have been trying for a couple days now to link my steam account to my GOG account to no avail, the steam-sync.gog.com times out without fail. I have tried using Chrome, IE, and Firefox but still the site just fails to load, and as the deadline gets closer and closer for unlocking those games I am losing my patiences with this.

Anyone having a similar issue and if so, how did you solve it, if indeed you actually have.

I am experiencing the same thing.

Patience and Gog should extend the deadline.

Somehow I think if Jesus came in and posted that they still wouldn't pay any attention to it. :P
Giving a bump since the process still doesn't work, will try and contact support directly if I can.
I tried today. It still doesn't work.
Welp we got screwed out of the first batch, hopefully they get this sorted soon, not a fan of being screwed for something GOG should have fixed themselves. Surprise, surprise it still doesn't work and haven't gotten anything back from support.
I finally connected 3 days in and missed the first batch because of their technical problems. They need to post that first batch of games again and give people another opportunity to claim them.
Like a broken record, bump cause it just doesn't work still. Hurrah.

There are no games eligible at the moment. I do hope that they give you a second chance, but their workload is huge at the moment with the summer sale, so I wouldn't expect them to do anything with Connect for the next week.

You could send a support request, if only to have some evidence you tried it and it didn't work on their part before the deadline.
Has anyone here actually experiencing a problem sent a support ticket to GOG so that they can be aware of your issue?
With IE 11.0.9600.17914 I have problems with getting into my account. My games are not shown correctly. Only a searching circle is shown. BUT With Firefox 38.0.5 it is shown correctly. So it is an hypertext/HTML-Interpreter-problem.
For the record yes I sent a support ticket on June 6th, the help was NOTHING. It seemed like a token automated message and nothing more. I can try sending again but this just seems like it isn't getting anywhere.

"Hello,

We apologize if you're experiencing issues regarding GOG Connect. This is a newly-implemented feature, and we are currently working on fixing some issues:

1) Not all Steam games are recognized - please make sure that your Steam profile is set to Public, and try Refreshing on the GOG Connect site. If this doesn't work, please try again later.
Also, please note that you need to have the same - or superior - version of the game on Steam. For instance, we have Van Helsing Final Cut on GOG - if you only have the regular version on Steam, you cannot get the Final Cut on GOG.

2) Connecting accounts failed, or happens with a long delay - the server load might be too big currently, so please check back later. Also, make sure that your Steam profile AND inventory are Public before trying to connect the accounts again.

For any other issues, we still would suggest trying again in a day or two, to give us some time to work on fixes. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and appreciate your understanding.

If this did not help, or you have a different issue that wasn't listed above, please reply to this email and let us know.

Kind regards,
GOG.com Support"

As an update after contacting support again, since the system still isn't working for me they are doing a roundabout way to add the games and hopefully GOG Connect will sort itself out before any future titles are added to the list and I can actually link the two accounts.
