What happened? No more games on GOG Connect?
All comes down to publishers wanting to participate in GOG Connect. GOG can't put any games on without the permission of the owner of the property.
You're too early, the weekly "is Connect dead" thread is scheduled for Tuesday.

And the answer is always the same: Connect is a promotional tool mostly used during sales or for big releases. Either way it depends on publishers/developers being willing to essentially gift free games. There will always be extended downtimes.
