I would just like to say "thank you" for the solution of renaming the file.

I'd only become aware of a problem with the Classic installer this weekend, trying one game, then another and so on (but not all 92!) None of the games would even download; I just had a pop-up window requesting a program association for the file. Games that were still installed on my PC were unaffected.

I'm glad I found this post. Saving the file, then renaming to add .exe works just fine, so far.
