Greet all GOG users and today at the beginning of the new year I would like to write an open letter to our beloved company. It will be connected with the achievements that are present in the GOG client Galaxy, and the problem is that new releases do not receive the appropriate support, whereas from third-party platforms they appear with the release of the game.
I'm very concerned about this fact, which makes my favorite game shop flawed against the background of competitors. The releases of many new games do not receive support for achievements such as Spellforce 3, Elex, Ruiner, etc. I'm not talking about the old releases, they probably will never get support for the achievements of similar ones on other platforms. Even the Witcher 2 game from the owners of the service still does not have support for the achievements in the service, but at the same time it received cloud preservation support last year, whereas the STEAM version of the game supports the achievements from the release, I do not understand how this could happen.
I ask the GOG representatives to answer the problem and how are you going to solve it? Perhaps you should revise the agreements that you conclude with the developers and require them to include support for gog achievements in a manner similar to other platforms and services. Now GOG is not only the old games, but also modern releases, so why is the release of the game on the GOG by its inherent functionality more detrimental than on other platforms?
P.S. I apologize for my English, this is not my native language.
