Since GOG is censoring the German store now, the site is no longer of use for me. I already use one censored game store (Steam) no need to have 2. Too bad GOG went down the drain as well, but oh well...do something about it.

Dude, read the TOS. You can't give your account away. And your beef isn't really with GOG, rather with your own country's laws.

GOG is not censoring anything. Its obligated to follow the local law. You can still trade games-for-games in trade forum without limitation, thus get those censored stuff traded/gift-coded, if you want so.

In addition, GOG will never remove the title you already purchased from your library. And you can download and have fun with title - Steam can remove anything at any time from any library. GOG has no DRM. Your already gave some great games there, why would you do that? If you want go haywire, its still better to be leaving Steam (IMHO).

And yes, trading or giving away account is violation of ToS.

It's against the TOS, however censure is more of a "mind" thing. All the games are drm free, which is the reason you bought them. If nothing else, keep them so you can play in the future.

Seeing as how it's actually more Germany's fault than GOG's, maybe you should be giving away your country.

Even if it was allowed to sell your account, which it isn't, it seems like you are throwing away the baby with the bathwater. It is not doing you any harm to keep your account, plus you may want to replay those games someday or come back to download an update made to those games.

If you really want to sell your account, you are better off doing so on another site. This thread is likely going to be nuked once the mods see it.

It is unfortunate that gog made changes that obligated them to have to censor the store in Germany, but since they did they need to follow the law, as unfortunate as the law may be. I think you can still get around it using a vpn or trading with someone else.
