As for the thread gimmick post your favorite classical orchestral score, feeling classical today and it could be from anything. From the classic composers like Bach, to soundtracks from movies and games like Star Wars and God of War.

My favorite piece is the Rite of Spring as performed by Yoel Levi and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra:

The best orchestration of this piece.

Hmm so far I expected 10 posts by now.

Probably thinking that the thread gimmick is the chance to win.

Or maybe this community does not see me posing giveaways often.
I think everyone should at least try Omikron and the original JA (have them both, so...). Omikron deserves a hell of a lot more love than he gets.
I'm in for Omikron, thanks for the giveaway! :)

I've always liked Canon in D major by Pachelbel.

I hope both games get to go to good homes! I'm interested in both, but I'm in for neither. :)

I'm not really into classical at all, but I just love this particular piece... can play over and over when i'm in the mood.

Not interested in the games, but thanks anyway
Not in, but I think the overture to Poet and Peasant is great.

I am in, for Jagged Alliance

Dvorak's best

Dvorak's New World Symphony, also used in Assura's Wrath, love the viasual, the game though....well it's ok and exploitable

Slavonic Dance, not to be associated with Darude Sandstorm, or I'll cut your diuck off like a bobbit from Ultima III

not to be associated wih calssical music, but I do find it fucking hilarious to say the least

And also to fuck with you in the term

Wanna hear some humongous vanilla?, well I an't posting anything Michael Jackson related to his first albums, but here ya' go folks!
I've always had a soft-spot for this piece by Bach, its one of the music pieces we put on the Voyager. Wonder how it will sound to aliens when they stumble upon it...

edit: Oh, put me down for Omikron I guess.

I'm not in, but I also favor the 2nd Brandenburg, as zeo does above. I like a lot of classical stuff, but this has always been first in my heart.

Since it was just posted, though, I'll link to a couple of other favorites. Charles Ives' The Unanswered Question is a delightful short piece (it is very quiet):

And to go more modern than I guess you probably intended, I've always loved Michael Nyman's MGV (Musique à Grande Vitesse), a piece he wrote for the premiere of the high-speed TGV train in France. The Fifth Region (fifth movement, loosely) is the most exciting, but it doesn't make a lot of sense without the earlier parts. This actually draws heavily from other Nyman compositions, and uses themes that he returns to often, but it stands alone, I think, in terms of coherence and joy:
