What's with this Gog launcher? Fails to launch Witcher on several occasions? Is the server down?
That isn't the GOG Launcher, that's Galaxy, a beta piece of shit that you don't really need. :D
And how does one eliminate this Galaxy Beta piece of shit that I didn't even know I had?

Uninstall it and just launch the games without it.

LIES... you NEED it, you NEED it I tell you. :P

Though in all honestly the beta has been very stable for me. I'm running the Galaxy beta on the Windows 10 beta without issue, that in itself is amazing. xD

I have nothing against it, I just realize it's a work in progress. Once they offer us something a little more stable (which they will) I'll be a full time user of it.

Well, Steam also started as 'a piece of shit' and it still is, IMHO :p

But Galaxy got potential to become a really good client as soon as all the bugs gets ironed out and some extra functions added.

Edit.
Rant about non-existing problem removed.

I don't have Witcher 3 yet, so I can't tell for myself, but isn't the GOG Launcher kind of like "Galaxy Lite", à la the solution that AvP Classic and The Witcher Adventure Game used? (i.e. the window that pops up to ask for your account credentials upon launch)

One personal gripe is
Since the Gog downloader isn't being updated anymore, and it probably only is a matter of when it can't be used anymore, now would be the right time for Gog to implement download of the innosetup game archives for later use through Galaxy.
they already have that, click More->Get Back up & Extras and there you will find the installers.
While the attached example shows it for a game I already installed it can be done also via your "library" as well just click on the game in your libary from inside Galaxy and click the buttons I mentioned and there you go.

Nah, it's just not that obvious. It was even worse back in Alpha when it was just labeled as "Extras", I wouldn't of known about it if I didn't find it by total accident when trying to download the DOS version of Wizardry 7.. why that is still put in as a extra I don't know, hopefully it get's separated like Alone 2 and 3 did because Wizardry Gold is a inferior POS.

So don't feel bad.
Honestly alot of Galaxy problems are more or less user problems. People not checking carefully or configuring right, then shouting out how bad it is. For a beta it is extremely stable, the alpha did crash only once when installing alot of extras at one time and adding several things about 5 times, just to see how it handles this.
So far it didnt really do anything bad in the beta to me and worked like a charm. But i did install it to one directory, not changing anything, then putting up the directories and THEN started downlading and adding of games.
