Play a reimagined version of the all-time RPG classic from The Elder Scrolls series. Daggerfall Unity – GOG Cut brings this amazing experience to modern gamers. It has been made possible, thanks to the efforts of the GamerZakh, a gaming content creator with a love for classics.

The GOG Cut of Daggerfall Unity doesn’t require any special actions on your behalf. All you have to do is download the game and simply launch it. Thanks to settings and mods that were selected by GamerZakh you can explore the rich world of Daggerfall with enhanced visuals and gameplay.
Thanks for this that is a great idea.
What a nice surprise.

GOG.com: Get your copy of the Daggerfall Unity - GOG Cut...thanks to the efforts of the GamerZakh
Thanks, GOG and GamerZakh!
Much appreciated.

Edit: looks like I expressed my thanks too early: either the link doesn't work (yet), or the game isn't available for German users (though I don't know why the latter would be the case...).

Edit 2: Here's the correct link

Sent a message to Interkarma, cause it's weird that GamerZahk gets a credit here, and not DFWorkshop, where the development has been done.
5 minutes into the video and I'm actually interested in trying this out.
It'll test my old-school/jank tolerance level for sure though.
Amazing!
Thanks, GOG!
Get a buggy (but great) game and make it run on a buggy engine... I should try this out
Great! Thanks guys:)
Now this is more like it! A great surprise!
Whoa, huge thanks to everyone involved for this! I only just finished Morrowind so after the summer is over, and after I finish Oblivion, I'm gonna give Daggerfall another run through this version. :)

Interkarma, DFWorkshop, and each individual mod creator are credited on the game page.

The link is broken for me. I can't access the game page. So yeah. Ok. I see it now. That's good! Cause I have no idea who GamerZahk is, but I know the community at DFWorkshop. I was a contributor myself back in the early 2000s when we were working on different projects. We had one I was close to shut down by Bethesda called Project Dungeon Hack. It was a lot of fun, and work. And none of it happens without Gav's tools.

What a great idea! I've recently tried running the original version of Daggerfall on Unity and it's a massive change - for the best.
The way Daggerfall was originally intended to be played - even including the topography, which had been part of the original programming but had been disabled due to performance issues.

I urge everyone who was interested in Daggerfall - but was scared by the game's original issues - to give this version a try. You'll be glad you did.
Working URL, because not even GOG can get them right the first time.

So, how easily can the 'GOG Cut' be mixed with a Linux or Mac build of Daggerfall Unity from here?

Edit: I see GOG lists itself as both dev and pub, which rather spoils any jokes about Bethesda finally coming back with another GOG release.
