I recently purchased Transport Fever from GOG and installed and played it from Galaxy. I noted that Transport Fever has Steam Workshop mods. Would it be possible to get a Steam key for a game I purchased on GOG so I can access those Steam Workshop mods?

Not from GOG at least. Very occasionally developers will give you a Steam key if you ask, but it obviously varies between developers and the circumstances. I'd suggest writing to them and explaining the situation. A better solution would be for the mods to not be locked into a walled garden.

Like previous poster said, don't fall for the walled garden. There are sites and add-ons that allows you to download "steam" mods without using steam.

Mod workshop and creators club are the drm equivalents in the modding, don’t support it.

Well, I do so that Transport Fever Mod Manager allows access to those Steam mods. So, I'll use that. Oh, and I do use Steam for a couple hundred other games. So, I'm a big fan of those Steam sales.

Yes it is possible ,you only need to buy it on steam :P Good luck with them cause the mod i want never available outside of steam.

Just FYI, you'll never get a Steam key through GOG because they're a competitor to Steam. But check out Sir ... MrFailRomp's advice about contacting devs.
