I recently tried to use the GD Defiler for Grim Dawn and I got the attached error/message. My version is v1.2.03. I haven't played Grim Dawn for about 6 months ago and the GD Defiler worked fine. If there is a solution can you please explain in detail and completely .

That error is intentional. It means that GD Defiler does not recognize the character file because it is too new. A little bit of googling confirmed that GD Defiler has not yet been updated to support versions 1.2 or later.

So there is no solution for GD Defiler until the dev updates it. You can look for similar addons and check if they do what you want to do.

A good place to look for mods is ModDB or Nexus. I don't know if it can do what you want but GD Stash is often recommended.
