grog004: What is the best controller to use to play this game?
I had an old Microsoft Sidewinder controller but it
either doesn't work with this game or it's broken

_ChaosFox_: I think it requires some form of XInput pad like an Xbox 360 pad, Xbox One pad, Logitech Fx10, Speedlink Torid or something along those lines, amirite? Must confess that I've never tried DirectInput pads with the game. The Sidewinder is in any case definitely NOT XInput compatible, by a good 20 years by my measure. I recall I used to have a Sidewinder knock-off of some sort from Saitek, my first PC gamepad - probably still sat here somewhere as well...
