I am wondering what games are out there that have the following characteristics that the Tetris the Grand Master series has:
* Length: Game should be very short. TGM1 takes less than 15 minutes to play through from beginning to end; a skill player can get close to the 10 minute mark. The really hard modes of TGM2 and TGM3 are even shorter; the world record for TGM3 Shirase is less then 4 minutes.
* Difficulty: These games are very hard. It takes a typical player months to reach Grandmaster (GM) rank on TGM1, and *years* to beat TGM3's Shirase mode (in fact, even the best TGM players in the world can't consistently beat TGM3's Shirase mode).
I am wondering what other single-player games are out there that are short and hard; that is, the game is a sprint, not a marathon.
Before anybody suggests bullet hell SHMUPs, I should point out that most take over a half hour to beat; that's too long for purposes of this thread. I want something short, ideally less than 5 minutes.
