NuffCatnip: First time I heard of a puzzle game letting you create your own character. :)
Will take a look later today. Thanks! :)
The only other one I can think of is Beyond Zork, which is kind of an interesting case. The game gives you like six stats, each of which helps you solve problems in different ways. You can also collect stat points throughout the game as rewards for doing various things, but the class you choose determines what stats you start with.
I'm really curious how it works in Uru.
GR00T: How could I forget Morrowind? I'm playing it now. And yeah, I'm building an uber class.
What's your build? In Daggerfall, I always like to play a tank knight with thief-style fighting (short blade, critical strike, backstab, stealth). Then I take the character creation option that lets me start with an ebony dagger, which can hit any monster, and I basically never have to worry about finding any other weapon for the entire game. Meanwhile, I'm wearing heavy plate and tower shields, and my stealth score periodically improves anyway because the character is always passively attempting to use it, so I *still* get to backstab sometimes. Total beast.
