anothername: Every game is handpicked. While the obvious negative impact is the lack of releases and missing out good stuff since the team is flooded from the indi side of games it does almost guarantee we only get the good stuff and get spared the dreadful amount of dirt early access has.

chevkoch: Good point and it's mostly true. But I remember the recent Slain! release where we got the same dreadful launch abomination of an unfinished mess that appeared on Steam. Although, to be fair, the devs are now apparently working hard to rectifiy that. A splendid-sounding, redeeming patch has been announced for August 1st.
Something can always slip through; I was talking more about the really obvious stuff like what Jim Sterling get sued about; stuff that can only happen on an abuseable automated system because no half sane gamer would touch it with a 10 feet stick.

Yeah, I've followed the recent Sterling saga a tiny bit. Totally with you on that, I'm happy too we don't have to wade through utter garbage to find something worthwhile here.
The extras they give you with some games are interesting to look at.

Are you referring to the Digital Homicide lawsuit? That is a silly thing, and will be causing a Streisand effect. However, since they appear to be a small group, with a fairly unknown name, they can reopen under a different name afterwards.

Yes. And super-silly, I agree. Didn't know about the Streisand effect, thanks. She must've been kicking herself after realizing that she achieved exactly the opposite of what she set out to gain.

A lot of people (and companies) don't take such a possibility into consideration, as you realized. ;-)
Trying to ban bad reviews through litigation was a trend a while back.
Regarding Kingdom Rush Frontiers, could anyone tell me how many heroes does the GOG version have? The page description says 11.

The Steam version has 9, with another 9 slots marked as "Coming Soon". According to the web, there are 16 of them in the mobile version.

So is the GOG version better in this regard too?

*Sigh* I really hate this. I was looking forward to playing this, but now part of me wants to wait till all heroes are out. I guess I'll play now anyway.
