anothername: Every game is handpicked. While the obvious negative impact is the lack of releases and missing out good stuff since the team is flooded from the indi side of games it does almost guarantee we only get the good stuff and get spared the dreadful amount of dirt early access has.
chevkoch: Good point and it's mostly true. But I remember the recent
Slain! release where we got the same dreadful launch abomination of an unfinished mess that appeared on Steam. Although, to be fair, the devs are now apparently working hard to rectifiy that. A splendid-sounding, redeeming patch has been announced for August 1st.
Something can always slip through; I was talking more about the really obvious stuff like what Jim Sterling get sued about; stuff that can only happen on an abuseable automated system because no half sane gamer would touch it with a 10 feet stick.
