While there are far too many games on GOG that are missing updates, DLC, or whatever else because of the developer and/or publisher, sometimes games are updated here but GOG (for whatever reason) fails to update the offline installers for them. There is a spreadsheet I was made aware of here:

https://airtable.com/shrldLsErlUf3eHqS/tbltXjS8fxEGG11eD

But I feel that this issue should have a more visible forum thread dedicated to it. I'm hoping that this will help encourage GOG to address and fix the problem. As I understand it, this should be something that they're capable of fixing entirely since they are the ones responsible for the offline installers. I am hoping that this is all just a matter of oversight, although allegedly GOG has been made aware of this spreadsheet multiple times.
this is useful info, thank you.

Blue Fire is discounted again as part of this new sale event, yet sadly the installers for it are still outdated because of GOG's negligence. It sure would be nice to see everything on that list taken care of...

Really tired of GOG's half-assed shit lately.

I can't even get Blade of Darkness to update to v94 on Galaxy. Oh, it's a beta branch. Probably why the offline installer for it hasn't been updated, but that's still no excuse on GOG's part.

I don't honestly know whose fault it is, GOG's or the developer Owlcat, but the Linux version of Pathfinder:Kingmaker has still not been updated to the latest patch after months upon months of waiting. The one available for Linux is 2.1.5, while for Mac and Winblows it is 2.1.7. There are bugfixes and whatnot in there, so it's inexcusable to still not have it updated after such a long time.
I see X: Tension on the list but noticed the offline installer is 2.3 so it can be removed from the list i guess?

Is there an easy way to make offline installers? Would like to know in case I need to make offline installers for the games GOG doesnt update.

I suppose a good alternative is to just download and zip the full game.

of cause you could create your own installers with Inno Setup for example, for me zip files are ok.
you could also make an fresh installation with an outdated offline installer, copy the game folder to another location, update the game with galaxy, compare the updated with the outdated copy of the game with an duplicate file finder tool and keep/zip only the changed files from the update.
...much work.

Yes, if you install it through Galaxy. Then you're getting the most updated version that Gog has, which you can then create your own installers from. Just zip it with whatever Registry keys are added upon installation. I remember someone even used Inno Setup to make an installer executable. But if it comes to that you're already being forced to use Galaxy, right?

In Gog's eyes you're already giving up the main advantage of offline installers so they see less of a reason to keep them up-to-date...
the GOG offline installers are created with Inno Setup, there is also a tool with whom you could extract them for the most part:
http://innounp.sourceforge.net

maybe it could be useful to get registry settings and prerequisites

to create a new installer you could also use NSIS
https://nsis.sourceforge.io

Another option is the free tool InnoExtract, which has specific switches and support for GOG Installers, and isn't limited to Windows.

I’ve used innoextract on more than 250 GOG games, and never got any issue related to some missing script.
