Gameplay trailers for Bytebond (DVD Unicorns / Anshar Publishing) like this one sport the GoG logo.

"A two-player cooperative puzzle game set inside a computer, where teamwork is the key to success. Players take control of two unique robots navigating the digital world, solving puzzles based on energy management. Every puzzle in Bytebond requires both players to work together. Managing energy effectively is crucial for activating objects, opening passages, and overcoming obstacles. Even combat relies on cooperation—neither player can succeed alone."
Don't wanna make a thread just for one game so I post it here.

Is this not coming to Gog ? Looks like it strongly belong here.

Hello everyone. Do you believe that with how disastrous the game MINDSEYE is right now, there's a chance that they'll want to bring it to Gog?
Why? A terrible game that doesn't sell on steam won't sell here either. Besides i think the publisher IOI is done with GOG.

We got Dustborn and XCOM Chimera Squad almost certainly because they sold terribly elsewhere.

That said, I'm sure we've missed out on others, like how we haven't gotten Callisto Protocol despite poor sales.

You know, I was wondering that too, and almost made a thread about it.

That certainly increases the chances. Though I imagine they just want to focus on fixing the game for now. Also iirc they're planning on adding multiplayer later this year, and devs seem to dislike having to port multiplayer here (not really worthwhile with such a small base for all the extra work).

Maybe it'll show up if poor sales still occur and multiplayer never really takes off.

Right now they're probably elbow-deep in preparing fixes, releasing it in current state on yet another store to deal with refunds and poor reviews is last thing they think of. Maybe in a few months.

From what I heard it's not necessarily a bad game in itself, but it is a technical disaster similar if not worse than CP2077 on launch ATM.
Any sign of this game in the Gog database ?

Thanks for your answers guys.

I hope they bring it because I think it's a very interesting game.

It's been on the main page for 15 minutes now. ;-)

Edit:

I'd wait a bit, though. There was a discount initially, but it seems to be gone now. So it's better to wait a bit...

Edit 2:

Now it works!

I would love to see it on GOG.

Ah yes, the GOG22:
• Game is selling too well, we don't wanna sabotage our prosperous sales by releasing on GOG and making it "easier to pirate".

• The game flopped and nobody is buying it. No point in releasing it on GOG, it'll sell 10% of Steam's already-terrible-sales at best.

Also is it actually terrible or just very broken? If it's just broken, it can be fixed.
