PainOfSalvation: I don't get it. At least they could say their games are too niche for GOG.
Expectation vs
reality when contacting GOG :P.

BKGaming: They may not even be aware they were contacted... GOG seems to have a lot of issues with communication. Where on Steam a developer can simply use Steam Direct using their own Steam account with very little input from Valve, on GOG they seem to have to send emails and hope GOG responds. Seems to be GOG either doesn't get the emails in a lot of these cases or nobody views/takes care of them.
After contacting one of the blues here, GOG replied on Twitter to Rake in Grass devs: "We got your game and checked it back in May 2016. Unfortunately we passed on it and sent you a reply explaining our decision."

It is important that GOG doesn't remain silent when devs approach them or submit their games. Also, it is not clear which game got rejected, they have 11 games in their catalog. Or what happened with other games if they tried to reach GOG.

Well it's good to know they did contact them... still this system their using seems outdated as heck.
Can we get back on topic please? This is not a "complain about gog, because a game will not be released here" topic.

PainOfSalvation: I've contacted Rake in Grass on Twitter asking them about Northmark: Hour of the Wolf and Rampage Knights possibility of coming to GOG and this was their reply: "Probably not. We contacted them repeatedly and they do not answer. Probably not interested in RiG's games."

I don't get it. At least they could say their games are too niche for GOG.
FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-
I've been so waiting for Rampage Knights here, and now it turns out that it will not appear. Damn!
This game is very funny (especially in coop), creative and very variable. Is that the graphics are very simple, but as a fan of the Good Old Games, I do not exactly bother. Better good gameplay and bad graphics than good graphics and bad gameplay.
Who played it, understands what I'm talking about.

P.S.
I checked community wishlist: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/rampage_knights
With such a small number of votes, it is not surprising that GOG decided to refuse them. Sad. Sad. Sad...

We don't know which game(s) got rejected. In general, the amount of people voting in community wishlist is very low.

Isn't it mostly a co-op a game? I'd say that such games don't have a lot of following among GOG's customers. Just look at all the controversy around the Gwent MMO.

In the Shadows will be coming to GOG September 29:

High Hell will be on GOG later this year:

And I've found an entry for some game called Jalopy, which I guess is for this game:

It's like "Golden Axe". It was mostly a coop game or not? Yes and No. You can go through the whole game alone, just like in a cooperative. Coop is simply more fun.

Yes. But Golden Axe didn't require an internet connection to play with a friend. That's what bothers many people.

Honestly I don't have any problem with co-op games, as long as they have a solid single-player campaign. Since I've always been a "lonely player". Curiously I finished Golden Axe (for PC) several times. Always playing with a friend :)

In Rampage Knights THERE IS an option to play in the local coop.

P.S.
We have Absolver here, but don't have Rampage Knights. It's too late to worry about the need for an internet connection for games here.

Long time no see for this game.
That's one of the first win95 games I tried! The swordfights were pretty cool imho ;)
