markrichardb: The free browser game Card Hunter is excellent in my opinion. It’s got some similar traits to Hand of Fate, being a board game and utilizing cards, while providing optional paths of progression. I liked it so much that I burnt out on it playing for 2 weeks non-stop.

I am looking for a card game that actually transports your character into the (TP view) combat situation, Card Hunter does look like fun but its not really what Im looking for.

Wow did I have a lot of fun with this one. I didn't even do the multiplayer, just went though the (beautifully perfect) single player campaign.
