.....For the most part.

George R.R. Martin better release the next book soon, this year and before Season 6 comes out.

Because I really want to see how these events play out in the books more.

Episode 10 SPOILERS!!!!!!

So Myrcella Lannisters dies anyway by a "Kiss of Death" from Elleria Martell. Tyrstan is gonna be pissed no doubt.

Stannis pretty much failed in taking the North. Brianne finally caught up to Stannis and she kills him at last (Or did she since it just cut away from seeing him dying)

Theon and Sansa decides to escape at last with the last scene of them taking and Assassin's Creed style "Leap of Faith" into the snow and hoping the snow is thick enough to cushion their fall.

Arya kills Joffery's King's Guard. But falls from favor from the group she serves and becomes blind. Like the books she's blind there aswell.

Cersei's walk of shame. Man oh man I spoiled myself reading this part from the wikias and all I wanted to see is if they actually portray it with no holds barred full on horror. I say the walk itself is pretty much exactly how the book describes it.

And Jon Snow's DEATH. And I know about this one aswell. And of course people are hyping up that he will come back to life in some form. For example people say that a fire was glowing in his dead eyes. Mellisandra could ressurect him but seriously I am not concerned about Jon's death I more concerned about the Wildlings he saved. How are the gonna respond to this?

SPOILER ENDS

Well I'll just kill the time by reading my Middle Earth books or continue getting into Star Trek. Until the next book or season releases. But I still think the show will still go its own direction in the ending with probably a different outcome.
I was very disappointed with this season. If they were going to move away from the books I don't see why it was necessary to slow the plot down to a halt. Too much faffing about: Brienne just camping outside of Winterfell for several episodes, Jon took 7 episodes to even leave to get the wildlings, etc.

The next season, and the show, can still be great, I just hope this season wasn't indicative of the future for the series as just another one that started with great promise but lost its way with time.

Apart from Cersei's death, everything is different from the books, radically different . If they can fuck up the existing material like they already have, they don't need a new book .

Cersei died? I still remember reading the wikia saying her status is still alive?

So "Clegenbowl" did happened?

Typo, was thinking about Jon . I meant Cersei's "walk of shame" .

That walk of shame man. I was more surprised that they portrayed it full on. The leering and cursing of the peasents throwing filth and spitting at her and males stripping naked to rape her.

Is it exactly how the books describe it?

Dunno, stopped watching the show a long time ago . In the book, it's like this :

Honestly, as awesome as the show has been once in a while, it has suffered from the same staples of television limitations... and I don't mean with content or censorship. The books are a confusing, meandering path of viewpoints, agendas, and hidden plots. If I were asked do a GOT show, I would have taken one look at the books and said, 'no thanks.'

But the real problem is that all television shows end up with the same problems. Too many characters, not enough real substance, and replaying the same cliches and melodrama over and over again. I remember watching Miami Vice a lot as a kid. The first couple of seasons were great, but by season 5 Sonny Crockett had developed a split personality and was spending more time shilling for products or music videos than acting and story telling. Every show reaches its zenith and point of no return... and then are usually cancelled before they become total parodies of themselves. GOT is no different.

We had some highs, some lows, but now most of the real meat is gone. Most everyone we cared about are dead, and those left are pale imitations of those who came before them. Time to finish this old dog off before it pees on the carpet and bites the neighbor's kid. At this point ending the show at season 6 would be a mercy killing. But I'm guessing at this point the words MERCHANDISE and MOVIE TIE-IN speak for themselves.

Well her is the scene in all of its horror.

Edit: Read the chapter. It's faithful in its act. But it removes the attention to details like her hallucinations like Ned and Sansa in the crowd staring daggers at her.

Yeah well let's not exaggerate.

I got the intent of it, and that was sufficient. But in practice, it made me giggle a bit. The bell and the "shame! shame!" behind here were just a tad too pythonnesque for me, and broke the required balance. In my opinion, it would have been stronger without it.

But such a scene is bound to 'work' differently on different people.

I did not see any reference to Monty Python. Probably because I never watched anything Python related :P

If they had to keep it Personally she should have said "Sinner" than "Shame"

Sinner sounds more hurtful.

I actually like the Sonny Burnett arc. I know the premise sounds stupid, but the way they set it up in season 4 really works, and the Burnett episodes are really good. Some great directing there, and Johnson's acting is great, he really delivers a whole different persona as Burnett, down to the way he moves, sounds and walks. The only complaint I have is that probably should have been the series finally, as there isn't a realistic way of coming back from all that happened to him.

I would have had her say "Bad ! Bad !", but, again, that may be one reason why nobody lets me near any of these scriptwriting sessions...

It's much better in the book. Cersei's inner monologue during the walk itself is completely absent from that scene, and that was the most important part .
