the game won't load off of GOG.

You're gonna need to give a lot more details than that.
What are your computer specs?
Are you using Galaxy?
Have you already tried contacting support?

does this mean that you didn't get it to install or that after installing it won't run?
if it did get installed and you used gog galaxy to install it , try running the game directly (personally i install with galaxy and run them of icons on the desktop (an option during install)

In the meantime, have you tried to reinstall Windows yet? If not, don't do it. It would be kind of an overkill for your problem anyway.
