Cool Zoltan999! Glad to be of help. Im getting my moneys worth out of both of those devices. Money well spent.
Logitech Rumble Gamepad F510.

Unfortunately they don't sell it anymore and instead you now have to buy the wireless F710 or the more simple F310.

I looked at the F310 and see two things that would not make it a suitable replacement for my Logitech Precision Gamepad.

1. There are analog sticks. This is the major issue. (I have an Xbox 360 controller if I need one, but I prefer not to have to worry about calibration.)

2. Compared to the Super NES controller, the buttons are labeled wrong; the lower left button should be B, not A. (The Xbox 360 controller also has this issue; *why* did they do that?)

o.O I don't remember ever having to calibrate my Xbox pads.
I mostly play shmups and fighting games, yet I hate using my arcade stick. Keyboard it is. I use a cheapo Logitech K120 since 99% of the presses are to Z,X,C,V keys, and consequently I go through keyboards a lot. Plus the keyboard has a very short key throw, which I like.

That keyboard is crap for other tasks, though. I have a Topre Realforce connected to the machine for everything else.
Microsoft basic keyboard and mouse, Logitech Rublepad 2 and Wireless Rumblepad 2 for controllers, two Thrustmaster T16000.M for joysticks (one for the left- and one for the right hand).
Sold my Fanatec Porsche 911 RS kit (wheel+shifters+pedals) because to fully enjoy it I would have to buy a playseat or something similar, but with all the problems that creates (space + extra pc and display setup) it wasn't worth it in the end.

buttsb69: What is your favorite controller to use, gamepad, joystick, keyboard
Yes, all of those, depending on the game. And a mouse too.
I have a "non-gaming" mechanical keyboard with cherry brown switches that I use for everything. It's fine. Coupla months ago I replaced mouse and got a Razer Deathadder Chroma. It's okay after getting rid of the lights.

For controller needs I like the Xbox One controller, which I feel is almost a straight upgrade over the Xbox 360 controller. Only the shoulder buttons are worse, and they didn't take long to get used to.

Just curious, what is the dual stick setup good for?

Not a lot, but right now I only use it for Elite Dangerous, pitch, yaw, throttle and strafing up and down, plus I have a whole lot of buttons to my disposal and two T16000.M's are cheaper (and argually better) than a hotas setup.
There are more games that can benefit from it like Descent and it's clones but I haven't played those yet.
