laralady11: Hi I have just downloaded a game called dungeon keeper but it does not work i am angry upset PLEASE SORT IT OUT thank you from Mrs Mary Bass
If it makes you feel any better humans aren't the only ones that gets frustrated at times ;)

Give it a rest, mutts.
I can understand some being frustrated with a piece of software not working, but geeeez... I don't even want to try to help a person like that. That kind of behavior should not be tolerated anywhere. People need to grow up and accept that they don't live in Disney, sometimes things need to be fixed, and sometime life just isn't that joyful colorful ride you see on TV. Once OP calms down and behaves like an adult, she will contact Support, which is the only reasonable thing to do, and carry on with her life... hopefully to never react like that to something so trivial again.
I prefer Game II: The Gamening.

honest lee, teh op is clear lee not au fait with these thangs an' while she could have framed it all better, most of teh replies are fuckin' disgustin'
Brave regular GOGers tried to help and failed. Maybe this is a job for a community manager (or GOG support acting ex-officio).

Clearly the OP never dealt with GOG support. Fast, helful and kind, always, and a great selling point for GOG. Most likely they would solve all her dungeon keeping problems, or die trying.

No they're not. The only one you could have a leg to stand on is Babark's post #4, which he immediately followed up with an actual helpful response (#6).

As soon as Mrs. Bass started acting like a spoiled brat she lost mine and most everyone's empathy. I'd rather poke fun at her refusal to listen to the people who    did point to her    where she    could get    actual help , and maybe with time she'll notice she didn't act the way normal psychologically healthy adults behave.

But if you feel like that behavior should be rewarded go ahead and help her yourself, nobody is going to stop you.

I'm thinking it's less fairfox wants such behavior rewarded and more that they like to be the forum's contrarian. ;)

joppo: I'm thinking it's kind of a feminism-fueled * display of her disgust over how "the bad men mistreated the poor defenseless woman just because they're all chauvinist pigs". As if we wouldn't equally poke fun at a guy acting like Mrs Bass did.

* Not based on what she wrote in this thread but in some other where I noticed that Fox held the notion that possessing a pair of ovaries was enough to put someone in a category free of accountability or mockery.
You gonna get downvoted for stating that.

Could be.....as for poking fun: I cannot speak for others but I tend to more criticize than poke fun....but yeah I do it equally to all I see that I feel need to be criticized for some comment/stance/etc, and even then I try to remain as civil with most people(barring those who just insult me or others over and over).

Yeah, sometimes I act dumb or rude online, but usually mainly to trolls & such on sites where such is expected like the chans or reddit.

An aside: That reminds me of the whole "women right, man wrong" trend in comedy/etc media(maybe even games, but I am sure it was on TV a lot) starting at the turn of the century? This bit by you reminded me of that and how silly the premise was/is.
Game works fine!

Acting in my capacity as Community Moderator, I'd like to remind everyone to play nice with the other users. Someone else acting in a less than friendly fashion is neither cause nor permission for you to behave similarly.

When deciding whether to act like Mister Rogers, Han Solo, or (mad) Jack Torrance, aim for Mister Rogers.

I'll pass on acting like random white male film actor 1-3 thanks.
