Does the Galaxy client support tracking time played? The field has been there since the beta, but it's never worked for me. I believe it was initially NYI, but I'm unsure if that's changed. Does tracking time played actually work? And if so, any suggestions on what I need to do to make it work for me?

Nope, unfortunately it still doesn't work properly. They're working on it, so make sure you've the latest version installed. Re-installing Galaxy could help, too.
However, I'm using the web service HowLongToBeat for my personal tracking instead, which works very well.

Yeah LordPixie, it's bugged!
It doesn't work for me either.
You'll have to use something else, sorry.
Hm, works for me at least (only installed it last month though).
It used to forget tracked times (and 'last played' timestamps) after client updates, but I think that's fixed now.
Forgive me if this sounds like I troll posts, I assure everyone it's not meant to be.

Fact is but I don't get wanting tracking times. When I see how long I've been playing something it only further reminds me how pathetic my life is. :P

Hell no, you are no troll, you can't be classified the same as.. certain group that I won't tell, but you know the people.
About wanting tracking time, I believe most just want to kill the curiosity.
To see how long it has taken them to beat a game, for example.
Don't you get curious?

I might have been until I played C&C Red Alert 2 and it kept telling me off for how long each mission took me. :P

Does this game have the famous Civilization's "just one more turn" effect? Dangerously addictive? =P
