Should GOG Galaxy have an inventory system, like Steam? What do you guys think, good idea or bad?

I don't care either way, I do think there are much bigger features needed than a "inventory" system though...

I don't use Steam... please explain what this inventory system does. Seriously.

You can already find your Gift and the content of the wallet from without it, so I don't really know what new they could put in a Steam-like inventory. Unless they start implementing trading and/or cards.

It holds cards and other tradeable items, mostly.
It used to hold gifts as well that you accepted but didn't want to download, but not anymore.
GOG doesn't have any reason for such a system as it currently stands since they have nothing to go into it.
Having read Zeogold's description of the inventory system, I gotta ask, what would be the point? The Steam Trading system is completely broken, and I don't think GOG wants to be privy to gambling rings, either.
No thanks I absolutely do not want a inventory trading system like on Steam.

Leave all of that bloatware to Steam,

I don't need badges to craft, leveling up, experience points (XP), and trading cards.

Let gog.com remain unique from Steam and stop copying everything from Steam.

Stop asking gog.com to copy every single thing from Steam.

ZFR: Do you use Galaxy?
Nope.

Remember I said I gave up on playing the multiplayer of video games that have multiplayer that are sold on gog.com, because they have Digital Rights Management (DRM) like GameSpy or some email account required to be registered?

I only play video games that have multiplayer that have their multiplayer 100% Digital Rights Management (DRM) free that are sold on gog.com.

Like Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Red Faction, and Unreal Tournament 2004.

Then why should you care what features it has?

No No NO NO NOOOOOO Bad Idea!

I don't want some stupid place to collect hats and cards and whatnot. I only want a client where I can install and run my games. The only exceptions are achievements.

Because I don't want gog.com to be the same exact as Steam.

I don't want that microtransaction infested greedy Steam Marketplace to get into gog.com.

Thank god the gog.com version of Gremlins, Inc doesn't have it.

It has to do with it as I said I don't want that stuff to get into gog.com, ever.

OK... as usual, you exhibit an amazing inability to read what's actually posted.
