I've had Galaxy (Alpha) running for a couple days now and I just noticed that in Windows Add/Remove programs, it appears that all my GOG games have now duplicated, but the new entries are a different version number than the old and all are exactly 1.27 MB. Uninstalling via the new entry does remove all the game files, but leaves the old entry behind, broken and useless (but easily removed). None of the duplicated games were installed via Galaxy, just detected, though most of my games required manual detection. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but GOG already had a problem with duplicating entries before Galaxy (Sacred Gold is a repeat offender, for one), so for some titles, I now have 3 or 4 entries for the same game. Add/Remove Programs is starting to get really messy, my OCD can't take it much more. Is this par for the course with Galaxy? I tried searching the alpha sticky for info on this, but you know how the forum search functions is.
I have the same things.
It may be related to manual detection. I had it just on Risen, out of about 30 games or so, but most of them were either installed through Galaxy or from Galaxy enabled standalone installers. Also uninstalling from galaxy removed both entries, which is I assume what most people will look for, instead of add/remove programs.

I suspect that manual detection may be at fault as well, but using Galaxy to uninstall does not always make the duplicate entries go away. So far it has failed to do that with all three Fallout games, Empire Earth, Enclave and Dragonshard.

EDIT - Actually, it looks like uninstalling through Galaxy removes none of the duplicate entries. I'm up to the "S" section of my library and not a single game has removed the leftover duplicates so far.
