zeogold: It's still kinda invalid if you think about it, though. There's no way the chief could verify this statement. The guy could similarly say "I am thinking of tacos", and there's no way whether to tell if this is true or not.

Klumpen0815: "I am always lying" is a perfect paradox and doesn't need any verification.
If he is saying the truth, than he is a liar but if this is the case, he can't say the truth.
Hm, I suppose that's true. Alright then, bonus puzzle points for you!
Considering how quickly you caught on to that, care to try your hand at this one?

Your bonus points can be redeemed for a free hint, if you're interested.
Hey, shouldn't this be over now?
Also, while nobody's here to chide me about it, I'll shamelessly self-advertise:

Unless it's a lie, then it doesn't need to be a paradox.

(Yes, I know this post is three days old)

Yep, patience is a virtue.
I'm still in the process of creating something very complicated as a prototype at the moment so my time table is a bit erratic.

Closed.

Winners:
1. InkPanther
2. mikopotato
3. zeogold

I'll contact the winners in the appropriate order and update the list accordingly beforehand.

The 3D Warlock Class Spaceship got the first place because it looked like a lot of effort, love has been put into it and it's detailed and nicely done, congratulations!

I had a very hard time deciding between mikopotato and zeogold, because I have written some poems myself and know how much time it can cost to choose and set the words in an order that it transfers the message/content the right way, although I'm not a fan of the AA BB rhyme scheme. I had the same idea about the painter who sees his picture inferior to the art in/of nature too at some point although less monotheistic. I have the feeling I've read a poem with this idea at some point but I cannot remember from which author. I guess it's an evident idea to many artists.
Drawing needs a fine hand and exercise in addition to this but the motive was a copy, so in the end I made it more or less random and the order appeared like it did. I hope zeogold isn't offended, at least he got a massive amount of free games from me on Desura not long ago anyway, so there's still a backlog, I hope.

Winners are free to participate in the next round as well, which will begin very soon.

Thank you Klumpen. Actually you can trade my spot for Zeo i wont mind!
I'll try to draw something original on the next round!!
Klumpen0815, thank you for GA and generosity. I really like the idea behind this GA and I hope that next time gogers will be less shy with sharing whatever they created. ;)

That's not how it works, but I'll give him something extra then. ;)

PS: +2 for modesty

Honestly, I'm just glad I won anything at all, since usually I'm pretty low on the totem pole when it comes to the arts of any sort (I was seriously expecting somebody to pop in and knock me off the list entirely). But hey, I'll be happy to participate again.

Congratulations to all the winners!
Thanks for the thread, Klumpen. It's a good reminder that I'm not making enough stuff!

grimwerk: Thanks for the thread, Klumpen. It's a good reminder that I'm not making enough stuff!
That's exactly the kind of achievement I hoped for.
Even after increasing the amount of prizes too few people are creating stuff though.
It's good to have been rid of 13 keys again (sent out a few extra again), but I'll have to think of something more efficient somehow.
Not enough money for buying prizes here on GoG right now, so no idea how to improve it atm.

You could always try asking for people to donate prizes and make a prize pool. Sometimes people are nice like that.

If someone else is willing to give prizes for this, I'll throw in my usual ones as well and would like to participate myself.
Actually, I'd prefer if someone would take over so I could join the makers.

I'd be happy to take over, just know that my prizes aren't that great.
