Fur Fighters is one of those 3rd Person Shooters with a small but still living fan base; I've been waiting for gog or someone to promote the game on the store front since it came out on PC and hoping for a DRM port to be released.
Though that may not happen; So if Gog's staff won't because they don't want too or can't because of some Red Tape, legal bits or lord knows what else; I guess I wanted to post my own minor guide to get the game running properly.
First step would be to get a CD or PC copy of Fur Fighters; Amazon Sells them for about $10-$18.
If you got a CD drive, pop it in, install the game.
When the game runs, a Device Selection window will pop up; this helps optimize the game in terms of how it renders. Some expirementation, I was able to reduce the frame through~
Direct 3D HAL
Direct 3D T&L HAL
Ticking the box for Z-buffer helps improve the rate.
Window Optimization
If your Running Windows 10, the game will run in windowed mode and resize your desktop screen in an attempt to fit it. I'm not much in terms of dealing with older games, but this has been my solution up until now. Set the taskbar to hide and play the title as it is. As I've tried some of the lazier options but got nowhere to fix it further.
Windows 7 and below seem not have this full screen window problem.
IF there are any complaints from the younger folks claiming "Who uses CD's these days," if you own the game, you can burn the disk to a USB and use that in turn.
I wouldn't bother with No-Disk-Hacks either, which I've been there and tried; and failed, a lot....
