Wait, WIldermyth is a roguelite? I somehow missed that. Had it on my wishlist and was looking forward to it... what a shame.

Hum, the text reads: "this sale of roguelikes, dungeon crawlers and hack'n'slash games". Sure there is some "dungeon crawling" in Wildermyth. Not sure that it can be called a roguelike in any way. It is a rather original game, IMHO. Deals with the mythical in a rather successful way.

Some games successfully dip into the legendary, such as King of Dragon Pass or Six Ages: Ride like the wind. There, the mythical is considered as a source of inspiration, as the player attempts legendary spoils. Even some myths are reelaborated, as "the new story that always existed". For those that want to move one step closer to the mythical, Wildermyth attempts that.

In short: in King of Dragon Pass regular fellows have a shot at becoming legendary heroes that recreate myths. In Wildermyth regular fellows have a chance of becoming heroes, possibly even demigods, and forge not just a legend but myths themselves.

Hope that makes sense. Wildermyth is a rather singular game. It is not expensive and worth a shot.

Fun wil stop soon if GOG and CDPR will not stop being assholes. Red launcher, cloud saves max capacity (and way too low), what else next?!!!
