Even if its slightly worse than DLSS, im ok with it given that its
1. open source
2. no AI is used, hence older cards(even nvidia cards) will benefit.
3. less development time to implement.
4. finally some competition.

This for me,is one of the biggest "happy" moments of the week, the next being nvidia's decision to open source their kernel modules for linux.

@GOG/CDPR are there any plans to implement FSR 2.0 into CP2077?

i dont wanna burst your bubble here but its not abt cheaper graphics cards (although prices are dropping worldwide)....its abt a good piece of software which has the potential to give free perf while not murdering image quality.

To me, DLSS is a real game-changer: I can finally run ALL the games at the highest graphics quality with ray-tracing while retaining a speedy frame rate (GeForce RTX 3080+144Hz G-Sync Full HD display).

Dunno if this "alternative" thing will really work though, as AMD always trails behind NVIDIA in graphics technology and support.

Also TechPowerUp review article. Quite impressive, better than I expected.
