Hi all!

Just wondering is Frozen Synapse or Frozen Cortex is scheduled to arrive on Gog anytime soon. I believe both games are available DRM free in the Humble store and Developer's store which should equate to an open door for Gog to come calling.

Also interested in peoples opinions of these games from a single player point of view.

Vote for them:
Frozen Synapse
Cortex Command

As for me, I don't own Frozen Synapse, I heard of the game, and would love to play it someday, I'll get it when I'm done playing everything or most of what I got at the moment...that's what I always say...
I do have Cortex Command, but unfortunately, I didn't play much of it (not yet!).
Also, it is always good to see more games that support Linux on GOG.com, so you have my vote for both of them!

Thanks. I voted for Frozen Synapse and Frozen Cortex on Gog.

I have never heard of Cortex Command though it does look interesting on the Dev page.

No need to apologize, I appreciate your reply. In addition, it appears we both helped each other broaden our knowledge of the games that are out there. :)

Frozen Cortex is made by the same Dev team that made Frozen Synapse and is also turn based. The main difference is while Synapse is combat in nature, Cortex is a American Football like turn based game with robots...

It looks like a pretty cool concept.
Frozen Cortex looks like a more strategy-oriented Speedball 2. And Cortex Command reminds me of Soldat. I had never heard of any of them. Thanks for sharing. They look quite good. Let us hope they make it to GOG.

I already own Frozen Synapse, thanks to the generosity of awalterj. It is a fun game. I just wish I had the time to play it more.
Cortex Command is a great game and I would love to see it released on GOG (without a doubt, an instabuy!) but keep in mind that it's not finished yet. On their website it says:

"Please note that Cortex Command is currently a work in progress and NOT a finished product! The campaign mode and missions are present, but as an unpolished ALPHA state in the version available right now. However, you may still buy a license today, which will give you access to any and all future versions up to and including the final with the full polished campaign mode in it.

Thank you for your understanding and support!"

So, either you buy a license now and be able to play it, or you wait a little longer (hell, I've been waiting for years!) and hopefully it lands on GOG. ;-)
