Freedom Games brings in two amazing titles while they’re in development – you can now check out RICE - Repetitive Indie Combat Experience™ and World Turtles in special launch discounts!

R.I.C.E - Repetitive Indie Combat Experience™ (-34%)
In this retro roguelite shooter, you’ll find everything you’d want from the genre – simple fast-paced combat, slaughtering your way through planet ecosystems to gain loot, and, of course… Trying not to die. You’ll have to eliminate entire worlds and their defenders at a quick pace, and you’ll be awarded with newer and even better weapons and the upgrades for them. Each run completed with lack of death means even more options for the next one!

World Turtles (-20%)
In this strategy city builder, you’ll learn that the entire civilization is being carried on the back of the World Turtle, as it flies through outer space. You’ll discover that you’ve been selected by a tribe of gentle, peace-loving Meeps, to save the life of their own World Turtle – establish a new way for them to survive and create a sustainable society. You’ll get to feed the great World Turtle, to ensure that it doesn’t perish along its endless way; and cooperation will turn out to be a key for success when the Turtle wanders into the more treacherous stretches of space.

Both offers end on May 9th, 1 PM UTC,so check them out, now on GOG!

Note: These titles are currently in development. See the FAQ to learn more about games in development, and check out the forums to find more information and to stay in touch with the community.
World Turtles isn't marked as "In Dev"?
So, R.I.C.E. is like a bullet hell ARPG with classical-ish music for soundtrack? Well, they're certainly not afraid of trying new things. :) Such projects are usually either groundbreaking, or totally meh. Let's hope for the former.
Where's the Mac version of World Turtles? It's on Steam and Epic. I liked the demo while it existed, though I don't so much like the increasingly-common practice of removing demos.
For a second i thougth it was the adventure game discworld
wich if memory serves me is going onside a giant turtle
so was kinda disapointed it wasnt those games
oh well

Not sure about yesterday, but it's currently listed in the store as including the macOS version, and GOGDb confirms that both Galaxy and standalone builds are available for download (as of sometime yesterday).

That would be cool, except the game details and system requirements both still just say Windows and Linux. On GOGDb I see Windows and Mac builds (on April 28), but only Windows and Linux downloads. The changelog from yesterday says "Systems changed from Windows, Mac, Linux to Windows, Linux".

Shit, I'm sorry. I apparently had a major brain fart and just ignored that the second OS symbol was obviously a cartoon penguin rather than a half-eaten apple. It even said "Linux" (and not "Mac") in the "Changelog" tab! :/
I guess I'm not very used to GOG having the Linux but not the macOS build of a game very often, and my brain saw the second symbol and just filled in the rest from there.

I'm not sure if it will be groundbreaking or not. That was left to Vampire Survivors, who opend up this genre. There are now many games like this riding on VS's coattails. Not saying this game will not be good, that has to be left to be seen, but it seems like a failry close clone to the many other games like this. Just look at games like Spellbook Demonslayers, Bounty of one, 20 minutes till dawn, Spirit Hunters: Infinite Horde or even Don't Shit On My #!$@& Roof.

(though yes, VS is not the first in this genre, it just made it very popular in the last year).

The Witch of Fern Island was also just released in InDev, yet GOG made no mention of it. *le sigh* I only noticed because I saw someone played it on my activity feed.

As always, interested but I'll wait until the eventual 1.0 for relative content-completeness, least amount of bugs, and ironed-out game balance issues.
RICE is an amazing game, one of the best games I bought on here in fact but I hope that the updates will also appear. The game has a terrible memory leak that is fixed on the Steam version but not here. There has been no updates so far on here but steam has seen several.

The game is getting continuous updates on Steam but not here unfortunately but I hope it changes.
