In Frogwares 10th anniversary, their adventure games based on the exploits of Sherlock Holmes and Jules Verne's prose make their way to GOG.com.
The agreement with development studio, [url=https://www.gog.com/en/search/sort/developer/Frogwares]Frogwares, brings the first adventure game from their portfolio - Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring. “We're very happy about the cooperation with GOG.com”, said Wael Amr, Frogwares CEO. “Releasing Sherlock Holmes: Secret of The Silver Earring first seems as the best choice for GOG users - after seducing half million players around the world, the game certainly became a classic title for digital detectives.” Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring is available from today for $9.99. The second release from Frogwares - Journey to the Center of the Earth - will be available soon for the same price.
Hey GOG, FROGwares is close to BullFROG.
But not close enough!
Yay Sherlock Holmes games.

Wow. that's seriously overpriced. Another developer who overestimates the value of their own games, it seems. And it's only going to hurt them, nobody are going to buy it at that price.
Yay another adventure game!

Yes, yes, yes and yes.
for a second there i read it as bullfrog... screw that, i'm gonna keep pretending it's bullfrog..
I loved Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis and Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, so if the earlier games are anything like those I say a warm welcome to them on gog, and a tearfelt goodbye to a few 10-dollar sized chunks of my wallet in the future.
they should reconsider the price I think. I think I saw them i a store for 5 euros or something. I also think I saw the entire collection for 25 euros...(and that's 6 games). Could be wrong though...

+1 - not that I am interested in these games in the slightest, but the price seems ridiculous.
That's all ? For me another week without any GOG release .
You almost had me thinking Bullfrog was joining GOG. Don't get my hopes up like that. Although I am not complaining about more adverture games. Glad to see more coming to GOG. Now if you could just bring some BullFrog games please.
Adventure games aren't my cup of tea. Will pass this time.

This.
If it was at last some kind of humorous adventure game (like Simon the Sorcerer), I'd probably get it.
