The ex-developers from "Mist Land South" studio makes remastered versions of games "Paradise Cracked" and "Power of Law". What about possible cooperation to distibute this games over GOG?

If they are free games, why do we need them at GOG?

Are the games in English, because the web pages certainly don't provide that option?

I guess the idea here is to support developers by having them sell and us purchase it here. I would wish TAGAP was sold here, which is also given away for free and constantly updated and actively developed, so they are able to earn some money off their work. They aren't opposed though insist that it isn't and was never to earn money with their series. Good Amateur Games

Thanks for the reply, and of course it could be a great idea.

But if those games are only currently available from that site, which doesn't have an English viewing option, then it doesn't bode well for them, for those of us who only know English ... and not on an English orientated GOG anyway.

The games may not even support English for all I know.

Yes, many would be left out when there's no English translation available. On the other hand it wouldn't be the first game. Kajko i Kokosz for instance is available only in polish (audio && text).

I find that games are a great medium to learn a foreign language or reinforce what's already been learned in the past. This is why I strongly encourage playing games in their original language no matter it being french, german, italian, korean or chinese. Though of course it would help in the latter cases to at least know your modern 汉字 or traditional 漢字 (Hanzi) and/or 한글 (Hangul) where it helps to know Japanese (well listening and understanding more than writing system of course ... I digress ... ;-)) Each language you know opens up a whole new world of knowledge and information no matter what source you learn it from (except Anime - which is useful to gain an insight into society but shouldn't speak the way characters do if you are into that thing)). :-)

I guess with so few posts in the thread it was easy to presume without looking, that it was a new thread ... oh well.

They can be if you have a reference point with the language, but if you are going in completely blind, it can just be all too confusing. I have a hard enough time navigating buttons where someone has accidentally selected the wrong language.

I've struggled through a few movies or TV Shows (very few) that at least have English subtitles. I can't say it was all that enjoyable. Perhaps the one exception was a Norwegian comic horror movie about Santa Clauses. And I did enjoy the start of another Cowboy & Indian movie in German, which was quite funny. Neither of those had English subtitles.

Of course, for many around the world, so many things are English concentric, so it is likely easier, especially if some English was learnt at school, to appreciate English language movies and games etc, than the other way around for many of us English only people. I did a smattering of French and German at school, but remember bugger all, especially all these years later.

Where are these games ? Do they have fixes for mopdern widescreen resolutions ? I'd love to play these games agian !!!

The games were released in English but sadly the semi-official free-remaster doesn't include the english translation.
I say semi-official since the devs technically don't have the rights anymore so GOG would need to get in contact with Buka Entertainment (who seemed to have the main publishing rights) for a digital re-release of Paradise Cracked. (And THQ Nordic have the rights to the prequel Cops 2170 but it's still a gamergate exclusive.)
