Where the Cat and Wolf Play.

They say it's about quality, not quantity. Today, CD Projekt RED gives us one of the biggest pieces of DLC yet.
It's a new quest titled Where The Cat and Wolf Play - in which you'll explore a forgotten village and discover its terrifying secret. Find out who or what slaughtered its inhabitants and use all your witcher skills to confront this mysterious force.

The Cat and the Wolf have clashed once before. Any guesses where this might be going?

LAzzerrett: The Quest won't start. There is no Questsign in Oreton. I'm done with the mainquest, maybe this is the problem?
I finished playing it just now (also completed the main quest) and was reading a forum post on this quest. The quest starts off based on an older Monster Contract for a Leshen in a town near Oreton, and the story goes that another Witcher took the contract before you. So it turns out that if you finished the Leshen Contract near Oreton, the new quest isn't available since there is no contract for the other Witcher to take. So you might not be abe to play it because you already finished that contract.
Thanks for your replies. I loaded an older savefile, maybe before i' ve done the Monster Contract in Leshen, and i found the questsign on the board in oreton an was able to play the quest.
great :D

skeletonbow: I completed the game a week or so ago and I'm in the after-game now. I installed the new DLC, fired up my last save game, brought up the map and both Oreton and Crow's Perch had their notice boards lit up in yellow. I opted to go to Oreton and pulled the new quest off the noticeboard there, then went and played the quest. Had no problems at all. That isn't to say that it will work for everyone or that there couldn't possibly be a bug or something, but it worked for me fine so just sharing that as a datapoint.
For me they also lit up, but i had other priorities and after some save/loading they simply disappeared :(.
When CD project release next DLC ?

Florek2215: When CD project release next DLC ?
Not this one, over the next one. And this is not certain. Only thing certain is that the patch is coming this week.
Good DLC, waiting for more updates. :)

Nice quest! Thank you CDPR.
Only downside of this quest is that you can't invite the guy you meet during the quest (won't spoil who he is) to Kaer Morhen. It would be quite logical.
