edit: Try maximizing the window then clicking play? I think it was a little wonky for me too. I just figured it was because I have scripts and 3rd party cookies blocked by default, and I have to manually enable them until half the random pages on the intarwebz condescend to work for me.

I just find many scripts invasive. I tend to whitelist them on a case by case basis, even on popular sites. So, when at rarely (or never before) visited sites, it occasionally takes some trial and error to get the thing working decently (it is often hard to tell what some scripts do by their names alone).
