I want to play some flight sims and space flight sims with a force feedback joystick (DirectInput, not XInput), but which games are compatible with it? I'm having a hard time finding any that actually seem to use it.

EDIT: They don't necessarily even have to be flight sims, but it seems like most games that use it are of that kind, I guess.

What other kind of games would you play with an analog joystick?

I played X-Wing (in the 90s) with an LPT Microsoft Sidewinder... but I think it was the cheapest model, without force feedback.
The content I was expecting not from thread title I was.

Independence War 2: Edge of Chaos. I found the feedback felt totally wrong for a space flight sim so turned it off. only game I have played that had it to my knowledge.
Well that's weird, because I tried Independence War 1 (which I had trouble even figuring out how to play) and it had force feedback, but when I tried the sequel, it didn't! I think the Xbox controller might have vibrated while sitting on the table though. It does that in a lot of games, but the Force 3D Pro didn't have force feedback in that game, and I even crashed to make sure. And the fact that it's compatible with XInput vibration doesn't prove anything, because that's a different and much simpler mechanism.

Turned on in the settings? Power cable should be plugged in or you would get no vibrations at all, I guess.
Yeah, it's turned on, and the power cable is plugged in, and I get force in the Logitech profiler tool, and made sure the driver was updated (before that I wasn't getting force). Also, there's a weird thing happening in Strike Suit Zero (I posted something about it in the forum for that game but I'll summarize here). It won't let me switch the active joystick in the settings to the Force 3D because it says it can't detect it, so it uses the Xbox controller instead, BUT when I play it only the Force 3D works, and with vibrations, but the only problem is that since it thinks it can't detect it, it won't let me set any controls for it, otherwise it just won't let me save them and I have to revert.
