Quijote3000: Now I'm curious. I hope you find it
Well, looks like this cat (me) may be killed by my own curiosity lol.

It was a long shot anyway, but at least a few people tried which I appreciate. :)

Zimerius: Well do post if you found your answer! i'm quite curious now about what novels you actually read. Its haunting to search for a book which title you can't remember anymore, especially if you find yourself with an urge to read it!
I finally found the series, which was published in the mid 90's. After so many years, YES!

Dragonlord Chronicles is the book series by Thorarinn Gunnarsson.
- Dragonlord of Mystara (Book 1)
- Dragonking of Mystara (Book 2)
- Dragonmage of Mystara (Book 3)

Now I have to get a copy of all 3 to re-read again. :)

Great to... read that you found it :D

Huh, from the top review: ""Thorarinn Gunnarsson" is a pen name for an anonymous author, and a persona that doesn't actually exist --he was not, for instance, really born in Iceland."
And Mystara, a known D&D setting, heh...

Thing about older memories, you don't always recollect them the way they originally existed lol. But it's like that itch you can't quite scratch, but it's such a relief now that it's gone. :)

Hmm, I'll have to dig into that a bit about the author. I didn't know it was a pen name since it was the only series I think I read under that name.

Off topic, but just noticed your title and was reminded of that line of Zathras: "There is infinite time. You are finite."
