I suddenly realised something that wasn't obvious to me until now.

Of the non-free games added to GOG in 2015 (so far 129), there are just 7 games that are still flat priced:

All these games have one thing in common. They were all published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

The complete changelog isn't available yet, but I've been patched to address some recurring typographic error generation, and I also support Windows 8, though begrudgingly. :)

Probably an oversight that will not last long, if independent publishers like Supergiant Games have their games with one of the most ridiculous implementation of regional pricing then we can't expect any big publisher to really care about flat pricing in the long run.

Why is it ridiculous? Looks bog-standard regional pricing to me.

The implementation from their end is normal I suppose but it highlights the inherent ridiculousness of standard regional pricing in general more prominently because of the negligible difference people from some European countries have to pay and receive as store credit.

You can thank the currency exchange rates for that. The price for the game is €19 (on Steam and here), as opposed to the US price of $20, which doesn't differ so much now, but differed quite a bit when the € was stronger. At any rate, the publisher wants this price here and doesn't really care about whether the store credit will be €0.2 or €4 (that's GOG's job).

Yeah, I know its dependent on currency exchange rates that is why its slightly cheaper in Australia then US at the moment as well. So my point was just that independent publishers are no different then big publishers when it comes to industry standard arbitrary regional pricing as compared to the not completely fair but far more consistent and reliable flat pricing which GOG advocated for a long time ago. :)
