I know this isn't really the place to ask this, but i don't want to make another goddamned account just to ask a question on Firefox support forums.

I just want the Bookmarks/History toolbar to some out on the right side. For some reason this morning my firefox returned to default setting on everything pretty much.

Also after having scoured the internet, it seems I should have a drop down button on the top of my sidebar. I do not have that button. that's all that is needed to move the sidebar too.

I don't know how to restore drop-down menu, but you can change sidebar position in about:config by switching value of sidebar.position_start

If you really like to go crazy with Browser customization, might I suggest Vivaldi, made by the original Opera devs?

No more having to use regular expressions just to get your bookmarks panel on the right.
