Ok, so I dropped my principals for a bit and browsed the "DRM Free" catalog over at Humble. One thing I did come across was the old Fighting Fantasy books had been recreated by Tin Man Games. I remember the books from years ago, and have most of them, but would be interested in the remakes.

Anyone have any experience of them? I wonder if its worth making a wishlist entry for the complete set to be sold here (although not at the £10 each they currently are). Couldn't see anything in wishlist search of forum search (but thats probably as search is broken).

Holy crap, all these yeras and I'd forgotten all about these! I'd certainly vote for them on a wishlist.

Yes, they're great stuff. Most Tin Man Games book remakes are good. But I always wait for a discount, they're way too pricey. I should add that I've played them on Android.

Thanks guys, I have created a wishlist entry for these:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/fighting_fantasy_gamebooks_by_tin_man_gaming

After creating that I also found an entry for one specific title:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/the_forest_of_doom
Just a bump to get coverage.

Ah, you didn't mean Sorcery.
I never tried TMG games, but I hope that they balanced the old FF books, because they seemed so unfair..

In what way, remembering that each book is different. I found some - Warlock for instance - way to easy, and other ones, Hell House quite difficult, but then one was plain rpg, the other you had to figure things out (Appointment with F.E.A.R was another, where you had to calculate page numbers and things from clues scattered about which you may or may not encounter).
I've played a few of these on Android and they're quality products.

I would have thought they'd appeal to quite a few of GOG's customers, but I thought the same about Gemcraft and Creeper World, so what the hell do I know?
