Wouldnt say reddit is just left-wing nutjobs but I agree with your assessment that these rep systems as they are do enforce a certain type of thinking and deviators are punished and shunned for it.

Look at this very thread with many posts getting downvoted despite providing informative discussion on improving the rep system here. Tag+'s post was very informative and although I disagree with its implementation here (GOG needs to give its users far more ability to do stuff and add content to GOG beyond just posting for the system to be effective), it should be something GOG to consider.

If you speak out against GOG for any possible improvements they could make for a better site (which would result in a better business), prepare to get downvoted.

With today's forum changes, before removing the protest symbol ✊ from my user title,
I want to express my gratitude to you and the many forum members that expressed along months (under my shift, because it goes way back as historical posts reveal) their discomfort with the abuse, creating threads to openly talk about the issue, providing moral support to the affected ones, providing workarounds, even developing add-ons (like you!),
or simply posted/replied to the marked scarlet targets (people & topics) without any fear to be "low rated" without a reason... lesser to be silent to avoid expressing their thoughts and opinions.
