Series is definitely more shooter than horror. However it had horror themes and a few scares (jump out of your chair type... (especially in first game but not so much in later games)). Excellent AI.Level design and shooting (as per previous poster). The graphics were OK for the time, but was quite bland and not much variety (again in the first game).Voice acting was pretty good. Story plot was decent for a shooter. The mecha section in 2 was very good :D...One of the few series of games i ever started and completed. Recommended.

And you like Fear? Then Syndicate's (2012 revamp) your thing.
